AliExpress is Alibaba’s consumer export marketplace. Shipping is chosen by the seller, so two orders placed the same day can travel on completely different networks and arrive weeks apart.
Which carriers AliExpress uses
Most orders ship on AliExpress Standard Shipping and carry a Cainiao number starting with LP. Cheaper listings use China Post and produce a UPU number ending in CN.

How long does delivery take?
10–40 days to Europe, depending on the shipping option
Times are indicative. Customs clearance in the destination country is the single largest variable and is outside the carrier's control.
What buyers get wrong about AliExpress
- The shipping method shown at checkout matters more than the seller’s dispatch speed. AliExpress Standard Shipping is materially faster than Cainiao Super Economy.
- Buyer protection has a deadline. If the countdown is close to expiring and the parcel has not moved for weeks, open a dispute before it lapses rather than after.
- A tracking number appears as soon as the label is created, often days before the parcel is actually collected. "No information" at that stage is normal.
